Kashmir, the crown of India where we can see different kind of traditions in one state, the other end of India. It consists of The Dal Lake, its very cold place, and very nearer to the himalayas.
So, When I was 9th standard our school has offered an educational tour to KASHMIR so me and my friends thought of going and my wish to go to Kashmir had fulfilled. So all of us has packed our bags with clothes and with food, as it was a chilly area, we all packed with some woolen clothes to protect ourselves. SO, Finally our journey has started and we all are super exited in JAMMU EXPRESS. And the train started all of us started shouting ‘HIP HIP HURREY’ and it was afternoon so the travel agency people has provided us with delicious lunch.
So, the journey was going on and all of us were chit chatting and it became night and we all got tiered and we slept on our respective bearths. When I wokeup on the next day the train had reached PUNJAB and we all got out of the train since the train stops there for a while, so we all are observing its culture and traditions and their behaviour, and we got into the train and got refreshed and they served us a punjabi special roti with some curry and its was quite different than the roti we eat. so we all started to play our games again. And our journey is going on….
So the next day we’ve reached KATRA the final railway station of kashmir, all of us got down and got out of the station and waiting for the bus to drop us at the hotel. The bus arrived and we all started out journey towards the room on the hill ghat it was a super exited and a wonderful experience. And we reached or destination, the hotel was simply superb and their service was awesome. AND we took est for that one day and the next day we started towards VAISHNO DEVI TEMPLE which was very powerful and is situated in the caves of the hills and to reach that temple we need to travel on horses for 14km and it took 3hrs to climb the hill, it was a very good long horse ride, and we reached the destination and worshiped the god and returned back on the same horses, and the day ended.
The next day we headed our journey towards THE DAL LAKE situated in SRINAGAR, and happiest thing is that our hotel is located on the bank of the river, so the scenery was awesome and we went for a boat ride on the lake and it took a day to cover the whole lake.
And our trip has ended so, we did some shopping and next day we again returned back to the railway station and got into the trains and started our journey towards vijayawada and thats a wrap.
